For professionals

How ranking works

LocalOne ranking is built to keep search useful for customers and fair for traders. Paid visibility can improve placement, but only after the trader is already a relevant match.

Relevant service

The trader must match what the customer searched for. A plumber will not rank for gardening just because they have paid for visibility.

Service area

We resolve the customer location and only show traders whose saved service radius covers that area.

Trust checks

Live search favours verified profiles with clear identity, right-to-work, insurance, and document status where relevant.

Quality signals

Reviews, profile completeness, portfolio strength, availability, and response activity help customers see stronger matches first.

Where Pro, Premium and boosts fit

Premium priority

Premium gives always-on priority only inside the trader's chosen services and service area. It does not override relevance.

Boosts

Daily and weekly boosts add a temporary Featured push in relevant searches, useful when a trader has capacity for more work.

Customer trust

Distance, verification, reviews and availability still matter, so customers do not see a poor match first just because it is paid.

In simple terms: search first checks service, area and verification. Then it sorts stronger matches by distance, trust, reviews, availability, profile quality and active visibility. Premium and boosts help within the right category and area, not everywhere.
